Security Features

Any document that has a value, is in the public domain for a period of time and can be redeemed through a variety of outlets is open to potential misuse. Printing can easily be copied with today’s technology, and the quality of copy that can be achieved is frighteningly accurate.

This means that the requirement for security has turned more towards the paper, foil and inks, which can be produced under secure and controlled conditions not available to the general public.

We always recommend a minimum of two visual and one non-visual security features; this will prevent most attempts at counterfeit.

Depending on the potential for misuse, there are many security options to choose from. The following list of options we currently have available is arranged in descending order of security:
